Top 5 Places To Visit In South Korea

  1. Jeju Island
This wonderful island just 85Km off the coast is one of the most stunning places in South Korea and one of the most well-known locations in South Korea. Having been voted as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, the pristine splendor of Jeju-do will take your breath away. Surreal white sand seashores surrounded by pine forests, volcanic craters and lava caves, lovely botanical gardens and a prosperous lifestyle are some of the high-points of this herbal paradise amongst places near Seoul that are a must-visit.

2. Seongsan Sunrise Peak

If you are heading to Jeju Island anyway, then you should not miss watching the daybreak at Seongsan Peak. The nice of South Korea tourist attractions, this spot has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was once fashioned by way of the hydrovolcanic eruptions 5000 years ago. You will even find a variety of rare species of plants. The magnificent dawn is the most awesome thing on this volcanic mountain.

3. Busan

If you’re visiting places in South Korea then not including this area to your list would be unfair. This second largest city of South Korea is regarded across the world for internet hosting Asia’s biggest International film festival. Busan is an interesting amalgamation of skyscrapers, majestic mountains, lovely seashores and spectacular Buddhist temples and amongst the first-rate places to visit in South Korea. Among the famous locations to visit in Busan is the Haedong Yonggungsa temple along the coast and the fascinating Jagalchi fish market. Foodies can savour the sea meals spread at the severa eating places and experience local food at the ubiquitous avenue meals stalls.

4.Seoraksan National Park

if you want to go hiking, see the best known mountain range in South Korea or just get some epic photos, then make sure you visit the Seoraksan National Park. Within the park you’ll find pine forests, jagged and rocky mountain peaks, crystal clear streams and stunning lakes. Seoraksan National Park is also home to over 2,000 animal species. Start your visit at the National Park Visitor Centre, where you can pick up free maps in English and Korean. Then, enjoy the miles and miles of signposted hiking trails that crisscross the entire park.

5. Seomjin River Train Village

Kudos to the Gokseong district office which has managed to create a lovely tourist attraction out of abandoned railroads. A brief steam train ride (they don’t make ’em like this anymore, literally) is available for tourists, who can also enjoy a bike hike on a trail bike or a romantic walk beside the train track.
